The villa was designed at the request of a British couple who will use the house as their main residence. The request was for a spacious house to enjoy the views and the landscape.

The plot is located on the hill side of the main road from the city of Nafplio to the town of Astros. Our design approach was to create a house surrounded by a series of outdoor spaces with different qualities (covered / shaded / open air) to enjoy the mild climate of the area and the Mediterranean lifestyle. All spaces enjoy unobstructed views, with large glass openings to the sea, while all have access to external verandas.

The shape of the building creates an ‘internal’ courtyard, protected from traffic noise and shaded by a pergola. The courtyard continues to the BBQ and pool areas.

The main ground floor houses all the internal and external ‘public’ spaces including the courtyard, pool area, villa entrance, guest room and WC. The upper floor houses the “private” spaces, i.e. the master bedroom en-suite & walk-in dressing room, an office, an additional bathroom and a private roof terrace.

The building also offers a spacious garage and storage areas.
