Mosaic Villas in Greece recently spent a few days on the island of Corfu exploring the local market and we share our impressions with you!
Spring on the island of Corfu is dressed with great colours, smells, warm temperatures and peace. The summer tourist season is about to begin and travelling around the island offers the opportunity for great experiences.
Corfu has long enjoyed a special relationship with British holidaymakers as a tourist destination, but it is also a place where the British expat community counts almost 6,000 permanent residents who own villas and other types of property scattered throughout the island’s famous areas.
The positive sentiment towards Corfu is also reflected in the air traffic figures, with more than 3.2 million passengers expected this year and more than 70 airlines offering flights to the island.
We were delighted to learn that Corfu will be one of the first areas in Greece to have a seaplane airport, with scheduled and charter seaplane flights due to start later this year.
During our last visit to the island we researched and selected unique villas for sale, exciting development projects and rare plots of land to offer our clients a variety of property opportunities. A modern approach to the traditional Corfu villa typology offers a true contemporary Mediterranean architectural proposition that our office, in partnership with local associates, is prepared to offer you.
Corfu’s popularity as a holiday destination has resulted in villa owners enjoying excellent rental yields and a fully booked summer season. We have worked hard to secure a number of high quality villas for rent which we will soon be promoting to the international markets through a dedicated brand.
